
In his new position, Bonakdar is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all casinos and properties under Epic Gamings management.
Bonakdar has lived in Las Vegas for the past 25 years and has experienced the evolution of casinos first-hand, Epic Gaming officials said. Bonakdar learned the intricacies of casino operations through working, developing, and reconfiguring some of the best-known casinos in the world.
He joined Epic Gamings senior management team in July 2005 as senior vice president of operations. Bonakdar has held executive positions with MGM Mirage, Park Place Entertainment, Caesars Entertainment, and Harrahs Entertainment. Prior to joining Epic Gaming, Bonakdar was the vice president of slot operations at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where he played a key role in revamping the casino from early 2001 to 2005.
Bonakdar said he has always played a key role in improving the way different casinos operate and stay profitable and believes that success never stops. He earned a bachelors degree in hotel administration and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In addition, he is a master graduate of Rapport Leadership International and has had extensive management and leadership training throughout his career.
