
Groundbreaking of New Casino East of Harrah Oklahoma

Harrah, OK The dirt was turned over by the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Business Committee, and the new casino project started with this symbolic groundbreaking event. The tribal chairman, Marlon Frye, stated, This is an exciting day for the tribe. A new facility will provide a great new gaming experience for our loyal and new customers.

The new casino will have exciting new amenities which will require the creation of additional jobs. We are happy that the project is under way and we are going to get it done, mentioned Frye. The scheduled opening is February 2008.
Architectural designs are provided by Tulsa-based Selser Schaefer, renderings of the new facility will be available in the near future for viewing by the public. The tribe is building a new 37,000 square foot facility directly behind the current Kickapoo Casino. The project will be constructed by Flintco with management of the project and casino provided by Epic Gaming.
Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma operates a variety of enterprises including a convenience store, gas station, casino, wellness center, day care, health clinic and more. Las Vegas based Epic Gaming is a casino management company who assists the tribe with casino management.
